²He sang:

“The Lord is my rock,
    my fortress and my deliverer,
    my God, my rock in whom I take refuge.
³You are my shield and my saving strength,
    my stronghold and my refuge,
    my savior who delivers me from violence.
⁴I call upon the Lord
    who is worthy of all praise;
    then I shall be saved from my enemies.
